- Bench Top Alcohol Recycling System
- The Alcohol Recycling System (BTARS) is designed to use gravity as
its power source and green chemistry as its working media.
-
- The purpose of the BTARS is to help remove stains, dyes and cellular debris
out of dirty alcohol giving back the same concentration and volume of
alcohol that you put into the system.
-
- The goal of the BTARS is to allow you to use the same gallon of
alcohol many times over before you do one of two things:
- add a higher concentration of alcohol to increase its concentration or,
- use it as a lower concentration of alcohol.
The BTARS saves your laboratory money (purchase and disposal
expenses), time, energy, and potentially helps with compliance issues.
- Xylene Recycling Pads (XRP)
- The purpose of the xylene pads is to help remove water and alcohol
from xylene and xylene substitutes used in histology and cytology
staining procedures.
The goal of the XRP is to allow the continued use of the xylenes and/or substitutes.
By using the XRP your lab will greatly reduce the volume of xylene and/or substitutes you need to purchase
-
- Bench Top Formalin Recycling System (BTFRS)
- The purpose of the formalin recycling system is to recycle the
formalin without removing the buffered salts or altering the formalin
concentration. This system is also capable of recycling alcoholic formalin.
By using the FRS, your lab can reduce, reuse and recycle formalin,
reducing the amount of formalin and neutralizing agents you need to
purchase. Thus saving your laboratory money and time, while potentially helping you with compliance
issues.
